CE Timeline

• Attend Conference Sessions Nov 5-7, 2026

• Complete session evaluation forms for the event by Dec 1, 2026

• Complete the Overall Conference Evaluation by Dec 1, 2026

• Continuing Education Certificates are available for download immediately after all evaluations have been completed.

Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review the continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend the entire session to earn CE credits.

Following each session and at the conclusion of the SACES Conference, you will receive access to your personalized CE-Go attendee dashboard, where you can complete evaluations and download your continuing education certificates. The dashboard link will be sent to the email address used during registration.

Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard," you will be able to:

• Complete session evaluation forms for the event

• Complete the Overall Conference Evaluation (open after the conference concludes)

• Download your continuing education certificate in PDF format

Policies

Disability Accommodation:

Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] by October 31, 2026. Refunds will be issued minus a $75 cancellation fee ($50 for student registrations). No refunds will be provided for no-shows.

COVID 19 POLICY

SACES cannot guarantee that attendees, guests, presenters, exhibitors, volunteers, or conference staff will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses during the conference. By attending SACES 2026, you acknowledge that participation in a public event may increase your risk of exposure to infectious diseases.

Attendees are responsible for making personal decisions regarding their health and safety and are encouraged to follow any applicable public health recommendations.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you understand and voluntarily assume any risks associated with attending SACES 2026, including the risk of exposure to communicable illnesses, and accept responsibility for your own health and safety.

Eligibility Policy

The SACES Conference is intended for counselor educators, counselors, supervisors, counseling students, and other professionals interested in counselor education and supervision. Allied professionals and guests are welcome to attend; however, only eligible participants may receive continuing education credit.


Due to the professional nature of conference presentations and events, children are not permitted in educational sessions, workshops, meetings, or conference venues during scheduled conference activities. This policy helps ensure a professional learning environment and the best experience for all attendees.

SACES reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations that do not meet conference eligibility requirements. SACES is not responsible for any travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred as a result of a registration cancellation.

Registration Transfers

Conference registrations may be transferred to another individual without penalty, provided that SACES receives written notification by October 31, 2026.

Conference Cancellation by SACES

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, SACES reserves the right to cancel or modify the conference. Should this occur, SACES will make every reasonable effort to notify registrants as soon as possible and will refund all conference registration and continuing education fees paid directly to SACES.

In all circumstances, SACES' liability is limited to the amount of fees paid directly to SACES. SACES is not responsible for any travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by registrants as a result of a conference cancellation or modification.

Conference Access, Registration & Badges

The SACES Annual Conference is a private event. Participation is limited to individuals who are officially registered as attendees, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, invited guests, or conference staff. Unregistered individuals will not be permitted to attend conference sessions, events, or activities.

SACES reserves the right to refuse, revoke, or cancel any registration at its discretion, including but not limited to situations in which an individual's conduct or participation is determined to be inconsistent with the mission, values, policies, or professional standards of the organization.

For access to conference sessions, meetings, networking events, and exhibit areas, all attendees, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, and guests must wear their conference-issued name badge at all times. Individuals without a visible badge may be asked to leave conference areas until proper identification can be verified.

Professional Conduct and Unacceptable Behavior, Consequences of Misconduct & Reporting Concerns

SACES is committed to providing a professional, inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all participants.

  • Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
  • Harassment, intimidation, bullying, discrimination, or retaliation of any kind.
  • Physical, verbal, or written abuse directed toward attendees, presenters, exhibitors, volunteers, hotel staff, conference staff, or guests.
  • Offensive comments or conduct related to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention, inappropriate physical contact, stalking, threats, or intimidation.
  • Disruptive behavior during conference sessions, meetings, exhibits, networking events, or other conference activities.
  • Unauthorized solicitation, sales activities, or promotion of products, services, employment opportunities, or organizations outside approved conference activities.
  • Recording or distributing conference content in violation of presenter or conference policies.


SACES maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

Consequences of Misconduct

SACES reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate in response to violations of these policies. Such actions may include removal from conference activities without warning or refund, revocation of conference credentials, exclusion from future SACES events, and referral to venue security or law enforcement when appropriate.


Reporting Concerns

Participants who experience or witness behavior that violates these policies are encouraged to promptly report the matter to a member of the SACES Conference Committee, the SACES Executive Committee, or the hotel staff. Reports will be reviewed promptly and addressed in a manner consistent with conference policies and applicable laws.
